Q: What does a graphic designer do?
A: Graphic designers are problem solvers. A professional graphic designer provides solutions to its customers. It’s all about solutions, about problem solving in a creative and impactful way. It is the knowledge and ability to combine graphic elements like typography, images and color with the purpose of communicating a message to a particular audience. A professional graphic designer is concerned with your business objectives and your business success. A professional graphic designer knows about marketing and provides you with creative alternatives for your marketing communication needs.

Q: What do you charge for your graphic design services?
A: Our hourly rate is $35 and is billed in fifteen minute increments. We are able to provide a low hourly rate due to our minimal overhead. We're pretty flexible on alterations. If a design adjustment only takes a few minutes, we won't charge extra. We can also quote your project at a do not exceed amount so you know up front total cost. And remember the more direction and information you can provide about a project the less the total project will cost.

Q: How do I receive the files for my design project once it's done?
A: All industry standard formats are followed when delivering final files. For websites, the final files are uploaded to your server. For brochures, flyers, posters, etc., final files are delivered as hi-resolution PDF files to the printer. Native files can be delivered if necessary. For logos, you will receive a host of file formats for every possible application from low-resolution website versions to vector files that can be scaled infinitely with absolutely no quality loss. Transfer of full copyright will occur after receipt and clearance of final payment.

Q: Do I own the copyright of the design work KK Pro Design does for me?
A: Upon approval and once final payment is received you own the work, it's yours you paid for it. Completed projects may be used in marketing collateral. If you do not wish for your project to be used for portfolio or promotional use, because of privacy reasons, or any reason at all, please let us know. We respect all privacy for our customers.

Q: Can you do rush jobs?
A: We may accept rush jobs at an increased rate of our standard fee, determined by the schedule and complexity of the job. To be fair to other clients, if a job already in production is interrupted by a rush job, we reserve the right to add an additional rush cost up to 50% of the total. We will try to work with your schedule to keep any rush charges to a minimum.

Q: What if I decide to cancel a design job?
A: For design work, the client shall only be billed for the hours worked. In the event that you cancel the project after completion, a cancellation fee of 50% of the remainder due will be administered. For any material already printed a 75% of the total print cost will be invoiced and due, Materials may be used by KK Pro Design as printed samples.

Q: How long does it take to complete a web design and or printed project?
A: Every project is different and every clients' needs are unique, therefore project timelines will vary. We will work with you to provide the best possible timeline based on the specifics of your project. In general, a project can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks depending on how quickly the process moves forward, the complexity of features desired and even how quickly we can gain your feedback. We work with your schedule to ensure that you are happy with the final results, and no project is final until you are completely satisfied with our work.

Q: What is your payment plan for design services?
A: For first time customers projects with a quote of under $500, 50% of the total is required upon 1st proof. The remaining 50% is due upon completion of the job. For projects with a quote of over $500, an initial 30% payment of the total fee is required. Another 30% is billable upon proof approval, with the 40% due upon completion of the project. Once a relationship is established we will no longer require a percentage upon 1st proof, and projects can be billed in whole, upon completion.

Q: What types of payment do you accept?
A: We accept business checks, personal checks, money orders, paypal, and credit card payments through paypal.
